About JASI

Jasi Swim Club (JASI) is one of the major swim clubs in Christchurch, and has a reputation for producing quality swimmers of all ages. The club's home is Jellie Park, which underwent a major refurbishment in 2008. The aquatic swim features of Jellie Park include two 25m indoor pools and one 50m outdoor pool.

All coaching is undertaken by highly qualified and experienced coaches. JASI swimmes train in the Jellie Park coaching programme. Squad training times vary in duration and frequency, depending on the level of proficiency of the individual swimmer.

JASI provides the club structure through which the swimmers participate in competitive swimming. JASI charges a small annual club fee to cover registration with Swimming New Zealand which allows swimmers to compete at competitions, while monthly training fees are paid to the Christchurch City Council who run the coaching programme.
